Upstairs the two bedrooms, a double (with en suite) and a twin, are both very roomy with plenty of storage space and quality furniture. A ‘night room’ and a ‘day room’ may well be the favoured options, while the spacious farmhouse-style dining kitchen also has its attractions. In fact, with the choice of two such enticing sitting areas, guests may have a hard time deciding where to take up residence. The bright airy sun room has a polished wood floor, chairs which beg to be sat in and inviting doors to the garden beyond. Inside you can tell at once that the owners know exactly how to put together a good cottage! The inviting and stylishly furnished sitting room has comfy chairs and a welcoming open fire in the rough stone fireplace which, in shape and substance, harks back to the wee bridge outside.
